Ingredients
Chicken & Noodles

- 8 oz (225 g) chow mein noodles or lo mein noodles
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
Vegetables
- 2 cups shredded cabbage
- 1 carrot, julienned
- 1 bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 cup bean sprouts
- 3 green onions, sliced
Chow Mein Sauce
- ยผ cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon sugar or honey
- ยผ teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons chicken broth or water
Instructions
1. Prepare the Noodles
- Cook noodles according to package instructions.
- Drain and rinse briefly with cold water.
- Toss with a little oil to prevent sticking.
2. Cook the Chicken
- Heat oil in a large wok or skillet over high heat.
- Add chicken and stir-fry for 4โ5 minutes until cooked.
- Remove and set aside.
3. Stir-Fry the Vegetables
- Add a little more oil if needed.
- Stir-fry garlic and ginger for 30 seconds.
- Add cabbage, carrots, and bell pepper.
- Cook for 2โ3 minutes until crisp-tender.
4. Combine Everything
- Return chicken to the wok.
- Add noodles.
- Pour in the chow mein sauce.
- Toss everything together for 2โ3 minutes until coated and heated through.
- Add bean sprouts and green onions at the end.
