- 1 large egg

Mushroom Onion Gravy
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
- 1 large onion, thinly sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 3 cups beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- Β½ teaspoon thyme
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
1. Make the Patties
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, milk, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, garlic, onion powder, salt, pepper, and parsley.
- Mix gently until combined.
- Shape into 6 oval patties.
2. Brown the Steaks
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear patties for 3β4 minutes per side until browned.
- Remove and set aside.
3. Make the Mushroom Gravy
- Add butter to the same skillet.
- Cook mushrooms and onions for 8β10 minutes until golden and softened.
- Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
- Sprinkle flour over vegetables and stir for 1 minute.
- Slowly whisk in beef broth.
- Add Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, thyme, salt, and pepper.
