Ingredients
- 3 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 (14 oz / 397 g) can sweetened condensed milk
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ΒΌ tsp salt
Optional Mix-Ins
- Β½ cup chopped walnuts or pecans
- Β½ cup mini marshmallows
- ΒΌ cup crushed peppermint candies
- Sprinkles for decoration
Instructions
- Line an 8-inch (20 cm) square pan with parchment paper.
- In a saucepan over low heat, combine the chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter.
- Stir constantly until the chocolate is completely melted and the mixture is smooth.
- Remove from the heat and stir in the vanilla extract and salt.
- Fold in any optional mix-ins, if using.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and spread evenly with a spatula.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until firm.
- Lift the fudge from the pan using the parchment paper and cut into small squares.
Storage

- Freezer: Freeze for up to 3 months. Thaw in the refrigerator before serving.
