🌯🍔 Chopped Cheeseburger Wrap
A delicious mashup of a classic cheeseburger and a handheld wrap — juicy seasoned beef, melted cheese, crisp lettuce, pickles, and creamy burger sauce all wrapped in a warm tortilla.
Ingredients
Cheeseburger Filling
- 1 lb ground beef (80/20 for best flavor)
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp ketchup
Wrap Assembly
- 4 large flour tortillas or wraps
- 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 tomato, diced
- ½ cup diced pickles
- ¼ cup finely chopped onions (optional)
Creamy Burger Sauce
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp yellow mustard
- 1 tbsp pickle juice
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp smoked paprika
- Black pepper, to taste
Instructions
1. Make the burger sauce
- Mix mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, pickle juice, garlic powder, paprika, and pepper.
- Refrigerate until ready to use.
2. Cook the beef
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add ground beef and break it apart.
- Add onion and cook until beef is browned and onions are soft.
- Drain excess grease.
- Stir in garlic, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Cook for another 2 minutes.
3. Assemble the wraps
- Warm tortillas slightly.
- Spread burger sauce in the center.
- Add shredded cheese, chopped beef mixture, lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles.
- Fold in the sides and roll tightly.
4. Toast for extra crispiness (optional)
- Place wraps seam-side down in a skillet with a little butter or oil.
- Cook 2–3 minutes per side until golden and the cheese melts.
